The European School of Heraklion celebrates 20 years of operation and invites you to a special anniversary event dedicated to the school’s journey, achievements, and future.

This special evening will be honored by the presence of the Secretary-General of the European Schools, Mr. Andreas Beckmann, as the official guest, highlighting the important role of the school within the European education landscape.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Region of Crete and the Regional Directorate of Primary & Secondary Education of Crete, reflecting the long-standing support of local and educational authorities for the school’s vision and work.
The program will include:
A historical retrospective of the school’s 20-year journey
Artistic performances by students
Speeches by representatives of local authorities, the educational community, and Mr. Beckmann
For two decades, the European School of Heraklion has been a vibrant hub of multilingualism, multiculturalism, innovation, and academic excellence, preparing its students to become active and open-minded European citizens.
The event is open to the public, including members of the educational community, parents, alumni, media representatives, and anyone interested in learning more about the unique identity and work of the European School of Heraklion.
